Add a code of conduct for contributors. The Contributor Covenant (version 2.1) is a widely adopted starting point and can be adapted here.

Key sections to include:

• Our pledge — commitment to a welcoming and inclusive community.

• Our standards — examples of acceptable and unacceptable behavior.

• Enforcement responsibilities — who handles reports and how.

• Reporting — how to report violations (e.g., a contact email or GitHub issue).

• Enforcement guidelines — how violations are handled and what consequences apply.
